Data we collect
Contact forms may collect name, email, company, engagement interest, year-end date, and message content. Newsletter signup collects email only. During engagements we also process client personnel names, roles, and contact details necessary to perform financial auditing work, held in engagement files under professional confidentiality.
Purposes
We use inquiry data to respond to engagement requests, prepare quotes, and maintain professional records. Newsletter addresses receive occasional seasonal briefs; you may unsubscribe by emailing us. Engagement file data is used solely to deliver the contracted audit or procedures and to meet legal and professional retention duties.
Retention
Website inquiry records are kept up to 24 months unless an engagement follows, in which case retention follows the engagement letter and Japanese professional record-keeping expectations (typically at least seven years for audit files). Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Subject to Japanese law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you for marketing or website inquiries. Engagement working papers may be subject to legal holds or professional retention that limits deletion until the retention period ends.
International transfers
If a group audit requires sharing component information with overseas parent auditors or group auditors, transfers occur only as needed for the engagement and under confidentiality arrangements described in the engagement letter.
Security
We apply access controls to engagement files and limit staff access to those working on the matter. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive account credentials through the public contact form.
